Description:

The course consists of an introductory lesson, weekly seminars of the "Essen Health Economics Seminar" series and tutorials. The weekly participation at the "Essen Health Economics Seminar" is a important component of the course and allows students an insight into contemporary health economics research. Lecture times depend mostly on the schedule of the "Essen Health Economics Seminar".

Students elaborate the content of the presentation in 3 shorter assignments (referee reports) and one longer seminar paper (own research proposal). Students learn the tools to analyze presented studies, to creat a referee report and to write a research proposal at the introductory lecture and the tutorials.

Please inform yourself about the modalities (room, Zoom-link, time) of the Essen Health Economics Seminars here. It is necessary to register yourself at the seminar series mailing list.
